The goal of Winemaker Abroad is to discover and discuss the wine industry across different countries.
This blog will toast the 2018 harvest in Chile as my first experience as a Winemaker Abroad. I will be working full time on the crushpad and in the cellar to accumulate knowledge. In addition, I will explore other regions and wineries of Chile to bring more knowledge and expertise to light.
These new discoveries will be supported by my past experiences in the wine industry. With a B.S. in Enology and five vintages under my belt, I am committed and eager to expand my knowledge on wine making.
This blog will focus not only on the regional and climatic influences, but on the technology, equipment, and techniques employed in wineries and vineyards.
